Funny, satirical sci-fi novel. The author has said he had a lot of fun writing this book; I know I had a lot of fun reading it.

Opening sentence: "Dick Moeller didn't know if he could fart his way into a major diplomatic incident. But he was ready to find out." The rest of the story grows from this one event. You have been warned.

This ambitious post-apocalyptic book is an intelligent, scary vampire novel that is miles away from the more romantic version of vampires that is often seen in this genre.

An fascinating exploration of how ideas gain popularity and credibility despite a lack of corroborating evidence, using the purported link between vaccines and autism as an illustrative example.

A worrisome commentary on how we decide what is true.

A sprawling, epic tale. Story-telling at its very best.

Rollicking, non-stop action. After the difficult-to-get-through System of the World and the sometimes lagging Anathem, Stephenson is back with a book that combines the best elements of his recent books with everything you loved about Snow Crash and other early novels.

An interesting take on the zombie genre. Really well-developed characters and setting. An entertaining read that made me want to keep reading till the end.
