Chia seeds are an "ancient power food." To me, they are delicious, healthy, and easier than tapioca.
Mix chia seeds with almond milk and fruit. Let sit in fridge overnight, and the next morning you have a gelatinous porridge for breakfast!

Very interesting to put things in perspective.

Type 750 words a day. This is not a blog, it's more like a private place that motivates you to write anything every day, which is a good practice to have.
You can view statistics about your writing...how long does it take you to write 750 words, how many breaks do you take, how does this compare to every one else-- But also things like how am I feeling and what am I writing about?

This movie, while a great statement of those times, is also worth watching just for the soundtrack. The fragility of Dustin Hoffman's character is performed flawlessly.

Photographer Steven Siegel shot street photography throughout NYC's five boroughs during the 70s, 80s and 90s. Here gothamist.com published his thoughts on the changes NYC has been through. He beautifully and simply lays out the tradeoffs of change as I think all New Yorkers see (and struggle with) them.

Love watercress, and it will love you. One of the best Superfoods, keep some handy to munch fresh, put in soups, salads, and sneak some in strawberry/yogurt smoothies and lasagna for kids.

I don't really like going out to brunch that much, either.
BRUNCH IS A SCAM BECAUSE*
brunch costs too much money
too long of a wait
drinking in the morning ruins your day
brunch ruins your day
having to leave your apt before you’ve eaten sucks
seeing other people in the morning sucks
it’s pretty much lunch

A black and white great. Kubrick perfectly encapsulates the book and the feeling of watching professor Humbert Humbert collapse into his own mind. A classic book to film adaptation. Shelley Winters plays an amazing supporting actress. Took me by surprise how enthralled I was with this one.

A delightfully written show that both brings in new and interesting concepts and remains surprisingly conscientious of the source material it is based upon.

Atwood is an amazing world-creator. This book explores a dystopian future featuring religious sects and corporate control, and follows the lives of two women who are survivors of a disaster that wipes out the population. Great for anyone who likes The Handmaid's Tale and looking to read more of Atwood's work.
