Damn, she's a natural!

Also, that was extremely professional, but it seems like wasn't paid for by Valve? Weird.

Does anyone understand how she suddenly realizes where the gun is?
I hope there's actually a pattern, I hate it when movies have fake puzzles...

Rich story lines and characters make this rpg addicting and unique on each playthrough. The dialogues between npc have made me delay epic battles just to see what joke would be played at Alistair's expense next. Your choices make a big impact on the outcome of the game, and there is rarely one "right" choice.

A great YA series with a strong female lead battling in the post-apocalyptic USA. I was not expecting to like this, since it promises to be the next thing for teenagers to squeal over, but I loved it anyway. A bit of LeGuin's knack for creating rich societies mixed with the gore of Battle Royale.

Delicious grilled dishes of fresh seafood, meat, and local produce along with a fun experience. Sit behind the bar and watch the two chefs cook on the open hearth, pass dishes to patrons, shout orders and greet people coming in and out. Festivities best paired with sake. Alternatively, you can sit at a table in the romantic garden area.

Used to play this over a semester in college - the longer the turns the more convoluted the diplomacy. The mechanics are simple but its best when you allow people to hatch full fledged evil schemes. Warning: may destroy friendships.

A favorite street artist of mine, partially because I walk by his work on a regular basis. You can see his stuff all over the East Village, Brooklyn, other parts of NYC and the world.

The rat and the bird are at 2nd and 2nd, aka Bond St. The bird is in Albert's Garden on the east wall, and the rat is on a staircase nearby. There is also a squirrel in Williamsburg at Berry and N 5th. I'll let you know if I find more.

I <3 Banksy! Can anyone recommend some NYC artists?

check out woostercollective.com/ which is an international street art blog based in NYC, so you'll see NYC art on there reasonably often.

i recommend skipping the videos which are all sort of similar timelapses of graffiti, but almost all of the pictures are really good.

I love his gravelly voice and his lyrics. Includes a lot of tango beats and influences. Good for Mondays and when life ain't perfectly sweet. Try Hoist That Rag and of course Little Drop of Poison.

Great sushi in a chill setting. The fish is very fresh and there are usually delicious specials to try. Also, try the sake boxes - not sure on the proper technique for drinking out of a square wooden box but it is more fun and smooth.

A little hidden gem on 18th st - a Venezuelan place with great arepas. Head over there for lunch and order one of their specials. It is quaint, inexpensive, quick and delicious. If you like really sweet beverages, order a Colita (venezuelan soda that is hard to find in the city).

Ever wonder what that giant clock thingy was in Union Sq? Wikipedia to the rescue with an explanation of this artwork and how to figure out what the frakken time is on the clock.

Haha, that thing is definitely a bizarre piece of “art”. It’s good to know what it is now… Maybe I’ll try to go see it at night sometime when it switches from 23595991000000 to midnight… maybe…

Colbert's strategy to create an economic boom to counter our $14 trillion national debt, by making things that explode. It's from March but recent news made me think of it.

One of the most awesome fantasy series of all time and a personal favorite since '98. The writing is sensuous and fast-paced. The cast is a menagerie of well-developed characters, from which you can pick which to love and hate (this is not a typical good vs. evil plot). Epic court intrigue, illicit relationships, ancient family lineages, cross-continental war - why aren't you reading it yet?

A wonderful Italian spot with a delicious menu and extensive wine list. The owner is usually behind the bar and readily recommends great pairings.

I love the selection of dessert wines, though the setting is simple. The Chelsea 7th Ave location is much more spacious than the one in the East Village 2nd Ave.
