This music video, along with the book 'From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler,' embody my boldest childhood fantasies: living in a museum and having an entire empty hotel all to myself. Maybe I could alternate? And oh yeah, the song is kickin', too.

Weird and dark, with disturbingly beautiful cinematography. Does that fact that it's directed by Eric Wareheim (hunch.com/item/hn_2193283/) make it more or less freaky? From HEALTH's fantastic 2009 album 'Get Color.'

Louie feels like one of the freshest approaches to TV-comedy, at least in 2011. Not only does it give plausible insight into the daily life of a veteran stand-up comedian, there is also a very abstract side to the more fictional storylines with surprising characters and events. All of this is combined very smoothly, and with what to me looks like high production value as well!

"Cool Tricks" from 'Yo Gabba Gabba!': FOTC's Rhys Darby doing the Robo-Boogie. Mesmerizing and actually pretty damn good (until you consider the robotic uprising of the late nineties...)
