Extremely fun - good balance of racing and battling while racing.
Don't bother using the steering wheel over the controller, it looks silly and makes the controls awkward.

As fun if not more fun than the originals
This game is socialist! When you're in first place it finds some way to screw you, and when you're last they give you all the good power-ups.

Very addictive. Especially playing against faraway friends through the internet is a lot of fun.
The internet connection doesn't always work.

New and retro levels. If you're a fan of Mario Kart, you'll love this game. Retro levels are a nice touch.
Online play is done well. The wheel is a fun gimmick for first-time Mario Kart players.
Steering wheel isn't the best way to play the game.
If you're burnt out on the Mario Kart games, this is just more of the same.

Great fun, particularly over the internet, but also at home for a quick game. Or two. Or maybe three. Or hell, where did the night go?
My kids are so much better at this than I am...

Great fun for the entire family. Playing over the internet makes it even more fun.

Very neat and provides a good bit of nostalgia, bringing back some courses from the old Mario Kart games.
The Wii Wheel is annoying and difficult to steer.

Like the previous Mario Kart incarnations, MKWii assembles a cast of Mario favorites and pits them in a racing/combat free-for-all. Unlock characters and race down some well designed tracks.
If you only settle for first place be prepared to hate the multitude of blue shells coming your way. Rubberbanding is pronounced and tends to randomize the finishing order.

probably the funnest game I've played in years. Great for multiple players on the same screen.

online is superb, lots to unlock, good replay value and multiplayer rocks
online play can get glitchy

It's a really fun game and the wheel is a neat addition. I quite liked beating my ex at a game for once. (apparently, I "drive" better than he does)
Little kids tend to beat the pants off of anyone playing with them.

Fun to race around, and the wii wheel was a neat gimmick...
... for 5 minutes. Then it got annoying to hold.

Mario Kart!
More like the later Mario Karts, less skill, more randomness.

Simple fun for the whole family. Very low learning curve, lots of maps and characters, and multiple cars per character round out the depth of the title. Online play increases the lifetime of the game.
Prominent rubber-banding makes first place the worst place to be until the last half of the last lap. Power-ups seem to be weighted in favor of the slowest drivers.

It's Mario Kart! Great graphics, fun gameplay, online capability.
Wii wheel is a little hard to steer... hard to stay in 1st place.

best game ever!

Using the wheel is fun and new. Similar to old game play. If you're not so good, it will help you catch up.
If you're good, it will punish you for being upfront. Wheel is fun, but for most potential must use nun chuck.

Super slick gameplay and controls.
Online matchups can be frustrating. Be prepared to lose a lot! (The better you are, the better opponents are chosen to play against you!)

So much fun. "Just one more race!" will be said over and over.
You get to a point sometimes online where you just can't beat the other players

Fun game. Very entertaining. Children love it, but adults can enjoy it just as well.
It isn't worth being in first place until the very end of the race because you only get banana peels!
