Berkeley has it all: amazing food, the ocean, great culture, easy access to parks and recreation, great schools and businesses, close proximity to San Francisco...
Sometimes the hippie, ultra laid back culture is irksome.
There's always something to do, a good show, new movie, art gallery opening!
Its getting more and more ghetto, and the schools are quite bad (Other than UC Berkeley). The hippies tend to piss me off too.
Full of good food and culture. Lots of singles, activities, and non-profits.
People piss on Telegraph Avenue without feeling embarrassed. High sense of entitlement and self-righteousness inundates the atmosphere. Hippie culture soaks through everything and is hard to wash out.
