If you are a Stones fan, this documentary is worth watching. It features great concert scenes (including the performances that were later released on Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out), and interesting interviews with the band. It also has footage from the Altamont Free Concert, where the Hells Angels killed a man, and the bands reaction to the event.

I make no value judgments on the song itself, but the video is pretty outstanding.

I don't know what's more surprising, that Ke$ha makes out with horses in order to seduce men or that people are still hiring James Van Der Beek for gigs.

Cool visualization of clusters of communication in the US based on cell phone call data. MIT's Senseable City Lab does some cool stuff.

Seeing a lot of In-N-Out today. Five Guys is the East Coast version. Started with a local VA family restaurant serving fresh, never frozen burgers. Popularity grew the restaurant into an exploding franchise. Great, made to order burgers, huge and sloppy with a nice variety of toppings. Fries are a hallmark, delicious, skin-on, copiously flowing out of the brown paper take out bag....mmm, good!

I especially like the Microsoft organizational chart! I wonder how accurate it is though, since it'd be a dream for me to work for Microsoft Research.

@lejaclyn I get the feeling that Microsoft Research is quite independent / doesn't have a gun pointing at it. Definitely the coolest part of Microsoft in my opinion!

This TV spot is ingenius brand positioning. Lenovo makes great products and has a strong market share among corporate IT departments but is just starting to build out its consumer brand. This ad plays on the brands strengths while reintroducing it to a new set of consumers.

R. Kelly's magnum opus. The video is also the one of the most amazing works of performance art I have ever seen.

If you ever get a chance, you should watch the DVD special features. One of the actors breaks down in tears thanking R. Kelly for this amazing experience. Priceless

Also, according to thoughtcatalog.com/2011/the-dalai-lama-sucks-and-does-not..., the joke is not complete.

After handing the clerk a $20 bill against his $12 tab, the Dalai Lama says, “change please”. The clerk replies, “change must come from within.”
