Sounds good, I’ve walked past it, but never been in. I might have to remedy that.

Small winery with limited distribution, but a great sauvignon blanc that is crisp but less sour/acidic/grassy as many.

Small out of the way winery in Sonoma that's notable for it's Zinfadel vines going back to the 1870s.

Though located in a random suburban bit of Santa Rosa, we all agreed this was the best meal of our three days in the area. I particularly recommend the roast carrots and the Moroccan lamb chops. They have a few other restaurants in the area too - their seafood place in downtown Healdsburg is worth going to.

Part financial history, party travelogue, and part social study of how different countries reacted to the 2000's financial crisis. Written by the ever clever and witty Michael Lewis of Moneyball fame.

Probably the best place I've eaten at in Santana Row. Well done brassier fare.

Well done but simple standard American and French food served in a small indoor but big outdoor setting.

Homemade ice cream, sauces, whipped cream, and just about everything else. And a good hamburger, patty melt or reuben too. Oh, and don't forget the lime ricky.

A great satire about the tobacco industry that really doesn't take sides.

Hip and happening, good food and atmosphere, nice covered patio.
Cons: Sometimes feels a bit too "scene-y".

Elegant pan-Mediterrian food on the Upper West Side. We had the prix fix lunch of several small plates which was a nice way to try many things on the menu.

Good for when you're looking for something nice for a special occasion. Burrata with grilled asparagus, mushroom risotto, gnocchi with duck confit and the grilled steak were all excellent. Extensive wine list as well.

Good food (for an airline), helpful crew, decent website, wireless and usually on time. I know it sounds pretty basic but they're way ahead of Delta or United.

Yes, this is the Wyndham's hotel restaurant on 24th st. But, it's far better than I would have expected. I had the fennel and orange salad, spaghetti carbonara, lamb chops and finally a chocolate cake.

I usually notice motion blur or generally odd looking motion on LED/LCD TVs. Not so with this one. Great color and brightness too as well as a slime profile and light weight. Very low power draw and radiated heat.

An awesome short film by Don Hertzfeldt. Apparently one of his first!

One of the funniest things I've seen on Tumblr. "I'd tap your Watergate." "I know something else that trickles down." "It's too bad you're not Europe and I'm not Marshall, 'cause I'd send you a big care package." The list goes on...

Decent single player version of the board game of the same name. Try to corner the modern art market and make a killing defining what's hot each season. No pass around or internet multiplayer unfortunately.

I too am addicted to Ticket to Ride, and the Carcassonne iPad app. They are some of the most enjoyable German style board games ported to the iPad. Fun solo, with a friend, or online.
