What recipes are trending on the internet right now? This site will tell you. Very nice layout, easy to use. You can even search by ingredient and save favorites.

Fun and catchy music. They put on great live shows, sometimes with another show for kids.
Cons: May or may not be giants.

Good for international news in particular. Has better priorities when it comes to what is real news than most US sites.
Cons: A bit light on stateside coverage, but that is fine by me.

Reputable. Everyone knows about it.
Cons: Lots of sections of the website are not news. Netiquette is not news.

A good way to get your news from many news sources. Computers can't see bias.
Cons: Sometimes it's hard to tell what's true when contradicting headlines abound.

It just works. There's an active development community, so chances are your question has already been answered. Easy to change a bit of text in the interface. Tons of extensions.
Cons: Doesn't work perfectly with safe mode, but that'll be deprecated soon (hooray!).

Really good when mixed with other drinks. I like it mixed with orange juice. It's a great morning pick-me-up.
Cons: Empty calories, but the same can be said of most soft drinks.

Easy to use and customize. Free. The default on many distributions.
Cons: Some people get so used to GNOME that they never explore what else is out there.

A beautiful language that is spoken all over the world and yes, sounds romantic. Despite what people tell you, it is not necessarily harder than other languages out there. Spanish, I'm looking at you.
Cons: Remembering those nouns that have a different number in French. Gender of nouns Getting the r and u sounds right can be tricky for new speakers.

I love this drink and get excited every time I see it in the wild. It brings back memories of France.
Cons: Yes, there is pulp in it, but that makes it somewhat healthy. Right? Right?

Rhythmbox can do just about whatever you want it to. Good plugin directory, including a Last.fm plugin.
Cons: I just started using Rhythmbox and haven't found any yet.

Great for personal sites that don't get much traffic because of the pay as you go model.
Cons: safe_mode.

The paper is thicker than that of the Moleskine classic, and fountain ink is less likely to bleed through the pages. I'm sticking with this one.
Cons: Once you go Moleskine, you don't go back. As an avid journaller, this one is worth every cent.

For readability and depth, this book is the best in both areas. If you want to dig deep into algebra and want a resource for later, this is the book.
Cons: The book hits the ground running from the beginning. I recommend a lighter read if you're brand new to the field.

This is a favorite card game of mine, especially if you play Ultimate Spoons and spread the spoons through a room. You have to be quick, though.
Cons: It will get competitive and intense.
