Well, Anthony Bordain's travel show is where you can see the live octopus eating.
But yeah, Oldboy is intense. The main twist is pretty guessable, but the final moments are utterly memorable.

Awesome cinema, with one of the best twists rivaling even that of the Usual Suspects, topped off with great cinematography (fight sequence in the hallway) and a haunting soundtrack.

Western thriller movies are so preoccupied with the twist dynamic of "look this way, surprise from that way" that it's become monotonous and hackneyed. Oldboy is a great example of a new classic thriller that delivers where Western movies have all but failed. Foreign cinema at its best.
Plus, where else are you gonna get to see someone eat a live octopus?
