Though several have derided the visible bias of this project's filmmakers, their 6-year chronicle of Ratner's Atlantic Yards project in Brooklyn finally brings brings the political controversy to a wider audience. Source Code is much more than the sci-fi action version of Groundhog Day, as some will have it called. Few films of this genre look this good while avoiding the affect of a videogame, rife with superfluous effects. While the underlaying conceit runs a bit thin, it's a great 90 minutes in an engaging reality without many empty calories.
With wonderful rustic dishes & a fantastic wine selection, Convivium does it all without the bells and whistles of a high-concept Brooklyn eatery. They've been around the block a bit longer and walk a delicious line combining Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian fare into deeply satisfying fare. The rack of lamb w/ pine nuts and cauliflower is especially recommended, with one of their ports to finish.
