You've all heard of Origami, right? Well, here's a different take on essentially the same concept -- you fold paper, then you cut it into amazing designs.
See what a piece of paper, a pair of scissors, and some imagination can do for you. This recommendation links to a Kindergarten in Japan that makes kiri-gami. Believe me, there are much better designs than what the kiddies make.
This is amazing. The vividness and mashing of the colors just screams to be expressed unto the wide unsuspecting world.
The portraits look like something you see in the opening credits of a spaghetti western...beautiful!
It's like gaming central for the sober, the slightly inebriated, and the drunk. A Coin-Op Corner, Game Console Couches, and, who can forget, a full bar with a DJ driven dancefloor. If you have even the remotest interest in video games, get yourself and your friends over here. If you have absolutely no interest, get here anyway, you'll be one of us after a few Red Bull Mixers and Tequila Shots.
World class flamenco music. What makes Oki Jin special is his journey to become a Flamenco master. Knowing little Spanish (if at all), he ventured to Spain to find Vicente Amigo, his idol, whom he hoped would teach him how to play. Through Oki Jin's journeys he picked up many skills from guitaristas. And yes, he eventually met his idol.
Pretty crazy that Zelda: Ocarina of Time suddenly popularized this obscure instrument! ;)
There's a pretty cool ocarina iPhone app as well: hunch.com/item/hn_3663844/
