Classic BriWi - hilarity + letting you know that he's down with the cool kids.

One of Sondheim's best, in an all-star rendition starring Neil Patrick Harris, Stephen Colbert, Christina Hendricks, Martha Plimpton and Patti LuPone - and it's dynamite. Bobby is the lone bachelor amongst a group of couples. He spends the whole show angsting about whether he should get married and bedding hot women (Mad Men's bodacious Hendricks is one, btw). LuPone kills. Colbert too! SEE IT.

They say it's bad for you. I am trying to care but I just can't - I LOVE DIET COKE. It's delicious and refreshing and tastes best frosty from the can, but I'll take it however I can get it (though only from a fountain under duress). I drink way too much of it to admit here, but the joy it's brought to my life merits an appropriate homage in this space.

A great dance tune & a great breakup anthem - and a great metaphor for Robyn herself, who has been making music and getting it done for a decade and a half - whether or not anyone was looking. They're looking now. Go Robyn!

British historian Andrew Roberts examines the strategic choices of the Allies and Axis forces in what looks to be a brilliant, and new, historical analysis. I haven't read it but it's on my wishlist. The new version contains transcripts of conversations from Hitler's war room (cue new "Downfall" vid possibilities).

I laughed out loud with delight in this at how weird and wonderful it was. Love Michael Bolton's meta second act. Anyone would be crazy to turn down a Lonely Island cameo - they are inevitably epic. Nice to see Akiva and Jorma in this one more too.

How can you not love that face. I had a half-Sharpei half-Lab while I was in law school and he was the lovingest, best dog ever. How can you not want to rub that adorable creasy forehead.

Love this band. De Stilj is my favorite ("Apple Blossom" kills me) but I also wore out the grooves (metaphorically) to White Blood Cells back in the day. Saw them perform at the infamous Union Square surprise show where authorities pulled the plug. Was right up front. Nursed a big ol' crush on Jack White. Huge talent.

First time I did it caught me way off guard and made me choke up. Beautiful, haunting, wisful and sad. But only gets there because there was great, great joy along the way. The double edged sword of everything, basically.

I half-stay at Ws so I can get these samples. Great for elbows and feet too. Oh shut up, you totally love moisturizing your feet, I know it.

Go Hunch! One of my top recs in denim is also my favorite make for jeggings. They somehow make super-tight jeans totally flattering, and yet totally comfortable. WIN.

I'm just going to go ahead and make my girlcrush official. Amy Poehler is a towering pillar of the comedy world, even though she's quite petite. Co-founder of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, she made the UCB a conduit for up-and-coming comedians to SNL and the paying comedy world. Aziz Ansari, Jack McBrayer, Rob Riggle, Paul Scheer and more owe a debt to her. Anyhoo. I am a fan.

Oh how I love this soundtrack. Have known it by heart since I was 8, which made me an 8 year old singing about transsexuals and seat-wetting, but that's ok. Every song is great and as an added bonus you get get by as an old-school movie expert thanks to "Science Fiction: Double Feature." And learn about weight training in "I Can Make You A Man." I just love this CD.

Hashable is the best way to remember where & when you met someone. It organizes contact info and keeps track of who you're meeting. It can send digital business cards, make auto-intros and generally keep your address book handy and updated in your smartphone.

Disclosure: Yes I work for this company, but only because I started using it and realized that the product was hella useful. Just sayin'.

An amazing documentary about the Freedom Riders of 1961 and what they did, and risked, for equality, civil rights and progress in their country. Incredible, moving and important. Also a beautifully done documentary. Top notch.

This movie is wildly underrated. Great songs, fun characters and Adrian Zmed. Also I dare you to claim immunity to Michelle Pfeiffer on a stepladder. It can't be done. Please give this movie the respect that it's due.
