Wow, creepiest intro.

I’m really digging Jonti—electronic, folksy, psychedelic, hip hop—all sorts of good.

This sci-fi classic (from 1956) is fascinating to watch if only to see what parts still hold up well and what parts seem insufferably hokey today.

This infectious song has been stuck in my head ever since I saw some peculiar performances of it at “Sleep No More”.

Haha, awesome idea! It would make modem sounds when you pet it and roll around on cute little wheels!

A great review of the Roland Lucina AX-09 keytar! Apparently he was on Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009.

An excellent tapas restaurant in Chelsea! The food and cocktails are great, and what looks like a small space opens up to a large back room with a gas fire and a retractable roof.

A nice little song by the Mississippi Sheiks—a 1930’s guitar and fiddle band. I heard a performance of it last night by this singer: caitlinbell.bandcamp.com/

I had never heard of Ayrton Senna, the F1 racecar driver, nor have I ever had any interest in racing at all. This film is made entirely from historical footage and tells the story of Brazilian racecar driver Senna. In a corrupt, political, and elitist sport, Senna shone and was admired worldwide. At the end of this film, you will be amongst his admirers.

My favorite phone game! Try out the free version, Trainyard Express, first if you're unsure. The puzzles are really interesting & rewarding and there are a ton of them to play. You can even make your own puzzles or play other user generated puzzles. Works on Android and iOS.

A great wine and spirits shop! The people who work there are super friendly, the inventory is hand-curated, the prices are good for manhattan, and despite a small selection of spritis, they have some hard-to-find stuff, like maraschino liqueur. They really up the experience beyond a standard wine shop.

I’m really digging this bear… I mean beer. Great flavor and easy to drink all night—which you can’t say about all IPAs. It has been popping up in NYC too!

A really nice spot for a meal with a pretty view if you’re visiting the nearby Sutros Baths. The food was good, they do an excellent job with cocktails, and I had a delicious butterscotch desert. Make sure to bring sunglasses, even if it looks foggy (which it will most likely be). Also, apart from being a little slow, the service was excellent in every other way.

Classic jam. It’s like a jungle sometimes, it makes me wonder how I keep from going under…
