This is fascinating. I love how people come up with fun things like this.

Awesome website by @electronicwhisper, watch the video to figure out how to draw a tree, but that's only the beginning!

Great movie! I finally saw this after having seen “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly” a few years ago. “For a few more dollars” is lined up next. If you like Tarantino films, then you owe it to yourself to explore what Sergio Leone has to offer.

A really mellow, synthy, instrumental album with essence of video game. I’m really digging it at work right now.

Tasty Spanish tapas and great drinks in a really cute space. The style of food is better for adventurous eaters, looking for a small meal. It’s a tiny restaurant and only has stools with eating at the bar or along the wall, so it’s best for 2 or maybe 3 people. Also, the signature frozen drink is delicious and refreshing.

Energetic, montage-worthy song by Bowie. Originally the title song of a 1982 movie of the same name, but this is the re-recording from his 1983 album “Let’s Dance.” It got some more buzz recently with Tarantino’s “Inglorious Basterds.” Also, Stevie Ray Vaughan is the guitarist on this recording.

This film is a fundamental classic. No matter how many times it comes on late at night, it will always be enjoyable. Plus its a primary node in the 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon.

Back before Cee-Lo was “Crazy” or telling off some dude who was running around with a girl he knew, he was being a closet freak. This song is a jam, and the 2001 music video is filled with all sorts of psychadelic funkadelics.

One of the most fun documentaries ever made (because most documentaries aren't fun at all.) "King of Kong" follows teacher Steve Weibe as he attempt to get the all time high score for Donkey Kong. His nemesis, however, is the infamous Billy Mitchell, a man so greasy and douchey that you have to love him. This movie makes me proud to be a geek... and maybe a little ashamed too.

@coxy says this is UK dancehall. I don't know anything about it… but I love the artistic direction, the rhinestone lips, and pipe-cleaner earrings.

Graphic, shocking, beautiful, and epic with tons of suspenseful build up as a few prepare to battle against many. It was exactly what I wanted from a samurai movie!

A remake by Miike Takashi of Kudo Eiichi's 1953 movie.
Expect a beautiful and epic samurai movie with plenty of flabbergasting fight choreographies.

This old-school arcade game is outrageously difficult and poorly designed, but I cannot stop playing it… it’s that terribly good.

This song has been stuck in my head all week and I’ve been periodically bursting out into the chorus in awkward situations. Also, there’s a nice little tip of the hat to A Day in the Life towards the end of the song.

A super mellow jam from Electric Ladyland. Hang in there for the full 13 minutes and 40 seconds, it’s awesome when the main riff drops back into the song. It’s Jimi’s second longest studio song, and apparently anti-war about nuclear war.

I bought this calypso record for $2 a couple weeks ago and have gotten more and more into this particular song, about the 1976 Montreal Olympics.
So catchy and fun!
Once you get into it, here are the lyrics to read along:
