- 04/13/09Pro: super absorbent material. great for cleaning up spills.
Con: doesn't actually clean unless you've already cleaned the surface with something else and use the shamwow to dry the area.
pro/con added to ShamWow - 04/11/09Pro: Good for quickly cleaning large open areas.
Con: Washing with dirty water, tough to clean tight spaces, requires a bucket to bring around. Not safe on scratch-prone surfaces if the strings meet at a metal or hard plastic piece.
pro/con added to Mop - 04/11/09Pro: Safer on more surfaces than a mop. Easier to clean specific areas of the floor because strings aren't flying all over the place.
Con: Straining the water requires pushing the two sides of the sponge together which pushes dirt into the sponge.
pro/con added to Sponge Mop - 04/11/09Pro: Fairly inexpensive and does a great job cleaning the floors. Safe on all surfaces, and the wipes are easy to clean and replace. The WetJet swiffer is great for wetting a surface before you clean it.
Con: Costs a bit more to replace wipe and WetJet liquid than purchasing a cleaner and dumping a cap full in water.
