Passing through SD this week I toyed with the idea of stopping here. Sounds like it was the right move to keep going.

Decent Nerf gun. A bit heavy for practical use. With some modding it can be an AWESOME Nerf gun. Link a few belts together... Remove the battery pack and wire up a stronger battery on your belt... The entire front half of the gun is just for looks, so if you just hack it off it'll reduce weight but not accuracy.

I love magic. However, it feels like as time goes on the new cards become more and more powerful, thus making older collections less useful. An awesome deck from 10 years ago doesn't compare to a mediocre deck from today. That makes it pretty expensive to keep up.

I preferred D&D 3.5 & 3.0 over 4.0 personally. But really the best part is sitting around with friends role playing. The actual rule mechanics are irrelevant with the right team.
