Google Chrome is better, and there are too many reasons to list here why.
First thing people think is "GOOGLE". Gathers data. Evil.
WRONG.
The so-called 'anti-privacy' data-gathering can be turned off. Easily.
And Google is the company I'd trust all my data to, if I had to choose. They've wielded it with great wisdom, despite what the stupid media says. The media usually forgets to mention ...

First to exploit the PageRank algorithm developed by co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page. Even Bing steals Google results to help 'enhance' its own search results. (Google it!)
Not just search engines... it has Gmail. Gmail lets you IMAP for FREE. Yahoo!... does not.
Maps, Books, Scholar, etc. Owns YouTube. Google Chrome is revolutionary. Oh, and Google+ pwns Facebook.
