I used to have a great deal of bookshelf space devoted to reference volumes. Sites like this has allowed me to dump them all in the recycle bin and make room for my kid's every growing toy inventory.

Part of being an artist of any worth is being willing to go out on a limb while knowing there is a decent chance of it breaking. Radiohead consistently goes out on that limb and yet it's still holding. That said, their album King of Limbs is aptly titled.
