Check the Bose SoundLink for a similarly priced, but more serious alternative.

An incredibly fresh take on the classic Sherlock Holmes universe - comes highly recommended due to the surprisingly modern update!

Perfect for the park and especially traveling. The sound quality is nice enough for anyone to really enjoy their music and movies and bring a little bit of home to your hotel room.

VLC is a champion media player. It's free, open source, works on operating systems you've never even heard of and plays most every file format (including, oddly enough, RAR files)
VLC also offers a bunch of awesome yet little-known features such as ASCII terminal mode, multicast, YouTube video download, a web interface, and automatic audio normalization.
I wish Winamp would have stayed as popular.

I have to admit, HypeM is so easy to use when trying to find new music that it almost feels like cheating.

This is such a great song with an atmospheric video to boot.
I've been sharing this like crazy since I bumped into it, and can't seem to get enough of the song!

L.A. Noire cuts down on pointless gunfights and focuses on the level of detail a good detective has to achieve to crack cases effectively. The game has a really good mechanic of rewarding you when things go well, and giving you more tricky action sequences when investigations aren't going very well.

Triumph is such a stellar insult comic that you could say his job is just about the most dangerous one on the planet because of the constant risk of getting your ass kicked very, very badly. Highly recommended!

One of the best non-alcoholic drinks for a lime-lover: GiMiLi (pronounced like Jimmy Lee):
1. Get a large drink glass
2. Squash fresh lime in the glass
3. Add fresh mint
4. Add ice
5. Add Ginger Ale
6. Ginger Ale + Mint + Lime = GiMiLi!
This drink is amazingly fresh. Also known as a virgin mojito, but no one seems to understand what to do when I try to go the 'mojito route'.

You can't label something as Kafka-esque until you read this impressively paranoid story. The trial scene in The Spy Who Came In From The Cold has to have been inspired by this incredible piece of literature.
Cons: Kafka died before he finished the whole text, so there are parts that have been spliced in as the editor's best guess.

Louie feels like one of the freshest approaches to TV-comedy, at least in 2011. Not only does it give plausible insight into the daily life of a veteran stand-up comedian, there is also a very abstract side to the more fictional storylines with surprising characters and events. All of this is combined very smoothly, and with what to me looks like high production value as well!

Even though the list contains mainly classics most people already know for their health benefits, I for one really appreciate the extra info packed with each mentioned food! Also, it never hurts to have a list like this to remember whatever it might be my diet is missing.

Easily the most addictive show on TV - ever. The multiple story levels, through the 5 seasons, with stellar acting and attention to detail is beyond me. Also, I'm glad they quit while they were ahead!
Cons: - I'm not sure if we'll ever see another show as awesome as The Wire.
- I seem to have trouble getting absolutely everyone I know to watch through the whole 5 seasons - which is an outright...
