I upgraded to FF for a few reasons: low light shooting (usable high ISO), the capacity to print big, and the capacity to crop significantly and still have enough pixels for a printable photo. Great camera.

I have the IS version of this. Great lens. Nice and light. Tack sharp. Great for outdoor and studio portraits. Of course, like everyone else, I want the 2.8, but this'll do for now ;-)

Great, economical, ultra wide zoom lens for a full-frame camera. Build quality is what you'd expect from an "L" lens. Nicely sharp. Autofocus is fast and smooth. Definitely fills a big gap in my camera bag, as my 24-70L isn't quite wide enough for many landscape shots.

Rented this lens over the weekend to shoot some landscapes, and loved it. There's some barrel distortion at 16mm, but that goes with the territory, I think (pretty easy fix in post). Lighter than I expected; easy to carry around (though I mostly had it on a tripod).

Wonderful versatile lens. Super sharp. Great autofocusing. Only downside is that it's a little heavy, but that comes with the territory with "fast glass" (f/2.8). This is on my camera 90% of the time.
