It took me a while to get into, but this is a very compelling dramedy. It starts out very Seinfeldy, about some self-absorbed, neurotic young people who can't get their shit together. But then the characters actually develop, and in interesting ways too.
It's so thought-provoking and layered. One of those things where you can spend hours analyzing every episode.
Not a big fan of The Office, but when I found out it had 7 spin-offs in 7 different countries, I had to check them out to see the cultural differences. This is the Swedish one and it makes for a fascinating comparison.
The Office's humour mostly comes from people's reactions to inappropriate behaviour, so I love seeing the different countries' takes on what is inappropriate.
A very clever twisty turny comedy. A man likes to make fun of idiots by inviting them over for dinner, but then a stroke of bad luck leaves him in the care of one of his not-very-bright guests.
The series of screw-ups that add up to very unlikely situations reminds me of old-fashioned farces like Arsenic and Old Lace.
