We really loved this book. We did the unabridged audiobook and it appealed to our whole family...4 year old boy, 9 year old girl and 12 year old boy included. We loved so many of the characters especially the wyverary and were incredibly surprised "when all was revealed." The language is rich, the stories are fantastic and the characters are well developed.

If you're looking for a nice non-boutique hotel that's centrally located in Charleston, this is a good spot. Great courtyard for eating in!

I just stayed here over New Year's and had a really great experience. The rooms and service were wonderful. The location is perfect for seeing and going out in Charleston. I especially loved the huge model train they had set up for the holidays.

I like Capital Grille in general. I always know what I'm getting and it's good. The Dallas location was a treat. The wait staff was particularly good. They have a unique wine list and the somellier is quite talented. Great night out.

I had a fantastic stay. Beautiful hotel, suites are decadent. The gym beats all hotel fitness centers with no contest and rivals any stand-alone gym as well. Took advantage of the spa and had a great experience. Adjoins to Nobu which is a real plus!

Fun and delicious Japanese restaurant. Neighborhood is gaining popularity. Traditional choices and some new twists as well. Wood fired choices are wonderful.

It is beautiful. This "Light" display is truly spectacular. But even if you miss that they have performances, fountain shows and fireworks throughout the year. The lilly pads and kids garden are great. The collection in the greenhouses rival the U.S. Botanic Garden. They also have an inspiring educational mission.

Who knew this was in Philadelphia? I always think of "National...." museums being in Washington DC. This museum has been around for about 30 years. This is a new building though, same designer as the Newseum. Very cool interactives. Much less dark than the Holocaust museum. Definitely worth a visit.

Museum and displays are well thought out and appeal to both kids and adults. Very educational on our whole history of government. You must see the show in Kimmel theater. I was genuinely moved, I also really enjoyed the live talent.

Just visited. One wealthy DuPont left one of his homes and 1,000 acres to display his antique furnishings and love of horticulture. There are a few great spots that make visiting the area worth the trip.

Just saw a review for this book in the Economist. Newly translated into English. The reviews give enough away to let me know that I have to find out what the boys did. Going to be my final summer read.

OK, I really need a more uplifting ending. It did get me thinking...how much would I do if my kids got in big trouble? Not this. I was depressed.

This recently turned over ownership from White Fences. I loved it then and I love it now. Label artwork is great. They offer tastings from their own stock and from Ingleside.

If I didn't travel with kids this would be my choice spot for "romanza." As it was, hubby and I stopped in for drinks in the "detention" bar and added a naughty note or two for the composition book. Take a look at the outdoor bath on their photogallery...my heart's a-flutter.

Yep, I'm definitely not too high brow to admit I flew through this series as a summer read. Solid "girl porn." No, they are not fantastic pieces of literature but can't one read a book or book series just for pure escapist enjoyment? Plus, they have a much more developed story line than a typical "romance." Still wonder what the heck a spreader bar is.

I haven't been able to put this down. I am inspired by our all-volunteer military. Put troops from our animal-loving country into a war zone, let them find dogs and cats surviving amid the turmoil and some wonderful examples of humanity are born. Kudos to the SPCA volunteers who reunite these troops with the animals who brought them some badly needed comfort while deployed in Iraq.

Very cool offering from Amazon.com of small selections of high end fashion, home and beauty products. I've been browsing for awhile and finally took the plunge to order something. Discounts are remarkable and so is the free shipping and the ability to return for free as well. They offer gift cards as well. Opened me to brands I likely would not have explored on my own.

My tribe of 5 live in a very tiny open floor plan house with nearly no closet storage. These bed risers save my sanity. Pop these under your bed casters and you've opened up all the space below your beds for storage. I keep luggage, rolling bins filled with my extra sheets, bins of holiday decorations, storage bags full of winter coats, etc. all out of sight under our beds.

Fast and fun read. Fish out of water theme. Easy to like the main character "Reek" Dockery on his journey to and ultimately his embrace of Italy and their culture.
