I haven't been able to put this down. I am inspired by our all-volunteer military. Put troops from our animal-loving country into a war zone, let them find dogs and cats surviving amid the turmoil and some wonderful examples of humanity are born. Kudos to the SPCA volunteers who reunite these troops with the animals who brought them some badly needed comfort while deployed in Iraq.

Very cool offering from Amazon.com of small selections of high end fashion, home and beauty products. I've been browsing for awhile and finally took the plunge to order something. Discounts are remarkable and so is the free shipping and the ability to return for free as well. They offer gift cards as well. Opened me to brands I likely would not have explored on my own.

My tribe of 5 live in a very tiny open floor plan house with nearly no closet storage. These bed risers save my sanity. Pop these under your bed casters and you've opened up all the space below your beds for storage. I keep luggage, rolling bins filled with my extra sheets, bins of holiday decorations, storage bags full of winter coats, etc. all out of sight under our beds.

Fast and fun read. Fish out of water theme. Easy to like the main character "Reek" Dockery on his journey to and ultimately his embrace of Italy and their culture.

I got this cookbook for Christmas from my in-laws. It is the companion book to the cooking show starring Marja and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. It is beautiful and really deconstructs how to make just about every Korean staple recipe I was taught by my father and adds a few tips and tricks as well.

A delicious treat. Nice alternative to an after dinner port. I have to say I wouldn't recommend having a glass the size depicted in the picture...I did and shouldn't have. Just an aperitif-size will do me fine in the future. I had it solo and it was wonderful, I'm going to pair it with a great piece of dark chocolate next time.

Stumbled upon this looking for a recipe for portobello mushroom caps. The $25 shopping cart archives are inspiring. Good food that's good for you doesn't have to cost a fortune. The recipes have a story, are easy to follow and are accompanied by beautiful photos.

We bought the first model just over a year ago. I was debating between it and a notebook for my kids. So glad I went with this. It is inexpensive and does all the notebook could do. It is very compatible with all the Microsoft Office products, it emails, it texts, it's a great camera, it's a kindle, it has all the android apps available. I like its size so much more than the huge iPad.

Fantastic off season prices. Got a 3 bedroom falls view suite for a steal. Freezing off season so am glad they have a killer indoor pool with a super fast water slide for the kids. Connects to a casino and shopping mall. Decent choice of dining and bars.

I love this website and hope you do too, especially, this article about how to repurpose pallets into beautifully intelligent uses. Putting casters on a pallet makes an amazing transformation into new utility.

I love Larry McMurtry, his westerns are wonderful. This book is the best, the whole series is good but nothing compares to this first one. If you aren't an avid reader the unabridged audio book is fantastic and they did a nice job on the mini series as well. Unforgettable characters; Gus and Woodrow became the names of my first 2 Basset Hounds! Unbelievable action and plot development.

I need a weight loss kick here and there. I've done Atkins, South Beach and Medifast successfully. I'm slow working off these baby lbs and am pleasantly surprised at how easy WeightWatchers is to follow. Sensible way to calculate intake calories and exercise values. I've lost 8 lbs in 2 weeks. Hubby isn't losing fast but his blood sugar is the best in months on WW. Good plan to keep for life.

My son loved the Broncos before Tebow, he loves them even more now...even with them out of the playoffs. I couldn't be happier that he is a squeaky clean role model. Love the hype, the Tebowing websites, the John 3:16 connections and the leadership dish. He's made the football season all the more enjoyable this year. GO TEBOW!

Smithsonian has 3 IMAX theaters, at the Mall National Air and Space Museum, National Museum of Natural History and the Air and Space Museum near Dulles Airport. The programs are great and include documentaries and box office hits such as Mission Impossible which is playing now. The theaters just started selling concessions so you can enjoy your film with popcorn soda and even a beer or wine.

Picked these up so my kids could better listen to music off of their tablets. They are really inexpensive, attractive and easy to use. The included cord allows them to amplify anything that has a headphone jack. Powered by an included usb cord. Decent sound. Worked great to boost the sound on a portable dvd player that multiple car riders wanted to watch and hear together.
