The girls and I would walk across the low dock to fish for crabs with bacon on a string. Red would be right there all the way splashing into the water with a big leap. The girls would have trouble fishing for the crabs because Red would not let them near the edge of the dock. Very rough, strong and dedicated. Great dog!

They are all good, but there is a long white icicle radish that is hot and crunchy. Hard to find in your local grocery, but if you are a gardener, plant some. They are great.

I had one of these dogs. A more loving, intelligent, and playful dog could not be found. Very trainable.

A saddle and two bales of hay, a 4x8 sheet of plywood, a canoe with paddles and life vests, two German Shepherds to show, or a soccer team with all equipment plus everything for tailgating at the game. More a way of life than a wagon. No electric - read coal - power. I want it back.

I have already spent too much time on this. Facebook was no surprise, but some of the others were. The age groups were interesting.
