Fast and lightweight, but fully functional. Easy to run, easy to install, easy to use. Perfect for a beginner. A vast and friendly user community. Highly customizeable.
Cons: Somewhat unstable: might crash if the user experiments too much. Always runs as root (not necessarily a disadvantage). Not as popular as other distros, so ready solutions are harder to come by.

This amazing book is both for kids and about kids. Smiple, but beautiful language. Great reading for people who learn English.

Simple writing system. Pronounciation is easy for non-English speakers. Reasonably challenging. Sighnificantly broadens career opportunities. Less popular, specialists are in great demand
Cons: Very difficult grammar. Pronounciation very difficult for English speakers. Requires time and diligence to master. Not similar to other languages (except Japanese), thus harder to learn
