It has as many books as you'd expect from a large library and the design is quite interesting.
Cons: The design tries so hard to be innovative that it's just confusing. An example of visual design trumping usefulness.

Fun, focused, and unique.
Cons: Very limited feature set.

A hidden gem. Better than the lack of critical acclaim would suggest. Even better to watch as a parent.

Thoroughly excellent animation, storytelling, characters.
Cons: The first 30 minutes or so has very little dialogue. Not as good for fidgety kids or adults looking for a fast-paced story.

I have no complaints. Good, secure, cheap, good tech support, the background app isn't a memory hog.

The gold standard for radio storytelling.

It's not for everyone, but that allows it to be more specialized and wonderful for the people that do like it. Free trial.
Cons: Because it's hosted, it's hard to get many workplaces to support it.

Surprisingly wide, deep, and authoritative considering that anyone can post.
Cons: Still cannot be fully trusted as a one-stop researching destination because it's just a glorified bulletin board of topics with anonymous posters. Requires follow-up research.

For all the sites using the word "social" in their marketing copy, it's nice seeing a site that really understands how to harness the social web for a tangible benefit.

A must for exploring any city, even your own.
Cons: Need to wait until the 3.0 update to get built-in maps, which will be June at the earliest.

The gold standard for quality. Between the $5 it costs to join the site and the pitch-perfect moderating, Metafilter has managed to maintain a surprisingly high quality level.

The app most suited to a true GTD flow. Powerful, flexible, syncs with iPhone and multiple computers. Comes with trial so you can try before you buy.
Cons: If you just want a simple checklist, OmniFocus is probably too expensive and powerful for your needs.
