Compact camera with the quality of an SLR - multiple lenses available.
I've been using this camera for the last year to assemble a portfolio of nature photos and can't recommend it highly enough - very reponsive autofocus, plenty of bokeh in the right places, and flexibility to do portraits as well as macro and telephoto shots.

Boundary-pushing modern classic of fantasy literature. Really complex characters with strong interior dialogues and intricate motivations with a lot of psychological and physical tension to keep the reader turning pages.
Starts a bit slowly and the names are new and a bit difficult to keep all in your head, but well worth the read.
