Great clothes for kids. Pricey but the sales are good. And it's nice to have a place where a kid can develop a sense of style.

I bought Beach (I think that was the name) at the Cooper Hewitt museum. It's one of my favorite scents. Reminds me of long, lazy beach days.

One of my favorite writers. An amazing gift for story-telling, history, detail, adventure and renaissance politics.

My husband and I watched this early on in our marriage (mid-1990's). We both sobbed and were so moved by it that I was never even allowed to say the words Truly Madly Deeply to him. My husband, who was a musician, died in 2009. In retrospect the film feels prophetic to me. I am remarried now but still carry this movie with me.

He was a phenomenal jazz guitarist, poetic and resonant. He passed away from lymphoma in August 2009 after releasing only three of his own albums. The last album Ripples featuring Scott and Bob Rodriguez is a gorgeous jazz piano and guitar album of Scott's tunes written after he his first lymphoma diagnosis. This is a musician who deserves to be heard and whose life was tragically cut short.
