Another hole-in-the-wall Italian eatery. Small, very romantic, and the food is quite Italian. The fresh pasta is delicious and made in front of you. Relatively cheap, and quite the secret gem in Tribeca. Check it out on a weekday, though. Wine is great too, and the waiter (co-owner) is hilarious.

One of the better Italian restaurants in New York. Extensive wine list (actually, a full binder). Entrees are good, but not spectacular. The killer, though, is the tiramisu. I have not encountered a yummier or more authentic tiramisu. I was thinking about it days after having inhaled it.

Actually, I'm still thinking about it... Definitely worth a try!

Firefly here is yummy :-) Wait staff is a little hovery and hustles you to order, but the drinks are quite good. Ambiance is nice too.

Came here for a date once - a little too dark for my liking, but the drinks are great and somewhat unique. The ice cubes are pretty cool (ha). I do think this place is a little overhyped, however. Try Fedora instead!!

One of the best books I've read in 8 years. It's definitely a book for those who are doing some soul searching or are at a crossroads in their lives. Beautiful prose and character development. I missed Maugham's voice after the book ended.

One of the best shows I've watched recently. It's scary at all the right places and the characters are kind of well-developed. The first season is much better than the second, though.

The best Italian food I've encountered state-side! The lamb ragu is to die for. House wine is not bad either. Sydney had the ravioli and it was heavenly.

This will satisfy the voyeur in anyone. Reading people's secrets that they submit to Frank is at once entertaining, touching, and sometimes really sad. I have read them every Sunday for the past five years.

I love this art museum, with its couple of Monets, a Picasso, a beautiful Bierstadt, a Rodin sculpture, and so much more. It also houses "The Iris," by Bouguereau, one of my favorite painting! It is a good size for a half-day visit, and it has great exhibitions. One of my favorites, of course. I loved living right next door to this art museum - I could just drop in before heading to class :)

I use this as my wallet. It fits an iphone perfectly and protects it from drops and scratches. I also keep my credit cards and id in the inside pocket. Comes in cute patterns too!

Free crosswords online! You can do them everyday without hunting down the paper. Although not as great as the NYTimes one, it is an easier alternative. Lots of fun! :)
