Quality posts and useful information. I feel like you learn something new everyday here and it really keeps you in the "know."
Cons: It's search results can be hard to get through when you try finding something again that you forgot to bookmark.

Very thoughtful and high quality articles. That's the main part of the blog. Awesome Twitter and newsletter. Also: roundups are great, templates are great, Smashing Comics are awesome.
Cons: The blog isn't quite focused, so whatever your interests are, you might want to some articles. But isn't it like that on every blog?

I end up on smashing about every day, finding new and interesting, well-written stuff to read.
Cons: It doesn't hold back on producing huge numbers of posts.

Frequent updates, high-quality posts, free stuff and links to tutorials and reviews. The general vibe is, "whoa, look at this site over here" and "hey, free icons!"
Cons: It's a little overwhelming and they overrely on "top 100" lists that make it extremely hard to find individual items in those lists.
