Great cocktails.
Great ambiance.
Great for conversation.
The process of giving your name to the doorman and waiting for a text when space opens up can be frustrating.

Very nice kind-of speakeasy in the East Village. A large variety of cocktails. Not crowded. Nice staff.

Classic speak-easy style bar with reserved booths and seats. They have a very strict number of people allowed in the bar, so that there is no crowding. Amazing food, drinks, and ambiance.
Cons: If you don't have a reservation, you aren't getting in. They stop serving at 2am on weekends, but you can stay later than that.

Great drinks. Relaxed, classy lounge with a death theme - but not in a goth way, more like an old speak easy
Cons: Closes early - midnight?
