A beautiful language that is spoken all over the world and yes, sounds romantic. Despite what people tell you, it is not necessarily harder than other languages out there. Spanish, I'm looking at you.
Cons: Remembering those nouns that have a different number in French. Gender of nouns Getting the r and u sounds right can be tricky for new speakers.

Beautiful and playful language. Grammar is similar to English.
Cons: Many false cognates make it difficult to learn/remember some of the vocabulary.

A beautiful language. Relatively easy/quick to pick up. Useful in travel and in the culinary field.
