This is the film of cult classics, it is a film shown all over the US at midnight with people dresses like characters and acting out the film. Susan Sarandon is Janet the virgin prom queen.

Don't expect anything from this flick except a lot of fun, bad taste, sexual innuendo, a striking number of cinematographic quotes - and great music. Young Susan Sarandon singing 'touch me, I wanna be dirty' is something to remember.

Tim Curry. The Time Warp song and dance. Meatloaf. If you are a stickler to the original musical, there really aren't that many changes made when adapted into the film version; seamless transition.
Cons: It's a musical. If you don't like them, you won't enjoy the film. Doesn't make much sense; if you are a serious sally, you probably would be better off watching something else.

Great casting, music, all of it! Fun to see some of today's best actors in these early roles.
