If in an alternate dimension The Smiths were a twee band. This is how they would sound. The guitars have that almost trademarked jangly vibrancy Marr is famous for, and the bass on some of the more prominent bass driven tracks has a Rourke like quality to it. Nothing on this album is disagreeable. A pleasant listen for a summer afternoon.
