A great documentary about Bill Cunningham, fashion photographer at The New York Times. Watching him riding his modest bike through the streets of New York City for years – refusing to enjoy the fame he deserves – was very inspiring. If you love photography, fashion, and/or NYC, I strongly recommend that movie. (Currently playing at IFC)
A beautiful & poignant delight of a movie, Bill Cunningham's New York evokes smiles, tears, and WONDER. Celebrating craft, appreciating beauty, with an unwavering focus on tenderness and compassion, this movie is touching at the same time it is uplifting.
