My day hates coconut, which consequently, happens to be in his favorite oatmeal cookie recipe. When he found out what went into the cookies, he seemed upset; however, he still eats them by the dozen.

Any cookie capable of conquering the hate is a real cookie.

I highly recommend oatmeal raisin cookies based on this recipe. I like my oatmeal raisin cookies straight off the rack where they are still chewy. I don't like them when they get hard and dry. I've been eating oatmeal raisin cookies like all of my life. You can't go wrong with these cookies. Tasty and great with a glass of milk.
