This book is enchantingly dark. The pictures only add to the mysterious and clandestine atmosphere that Riggs creates. Can't wait for the sequel.

An absolutely incredible read by up and coming fiction author Ransom Riggs. If you liked Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, or James Patterson style of fiction writing then this book is definitely for you. Ransom Riggs mixes real peculiar old photographs that he traveled the country collecting with an amazing story. Such a good read. Tim Burton is directing the movie for it too!
