This is an invaluable resource for any cook, but especially for a wanna be herbalist! Would make a great gift, too, with a few cuttings from your own herb garden.
I didn't realise this book was still in print - I have the copy that my mother bought me in 1978, I continue to use it and love it even in these google-everything days.
I have used this book many times during the years I've owned it. I find it an invaluable reference for all of the typical and not-so-typical uses of herbs.
