Not to be outdone by Belgium, researchers in Australia have developed a titanium dioxide product which can be coated on bathroom surfaces and create a self cleaning effect. Its hydrophobic qualities create a sheeting effect which prevents water droplets from forming, carries away dirt and grime, and does not allow fungi to form. Watch out, Tilex and Scrubbing Bubbles.
