My dad used let me off the hook for doing the dishes if I watched some of his favorite classic movies... this was one of them. Definitely a fun watch. Definitely 50's camp but also some great plot elements.

Cracking good story!
I think this movie has elements that appear in many of the sci-fi movies of today.
Highly recommended.
Oh and there aren't any Lt. Frank Drebin one liners in this one.

This sci-fi classic (from 1956) is fascinating to watch if only to see what parts still hold up well and what parts seem insufferably hokey today.
