I like the writing of Matt Ruff. His stories are funny and strange.
This one is set in the year 2026, but isnt really just Scifi nor satire. He references Ayn Rand, and takes on Catholicism, feminism, ethnicism, ecology, political correctness (he calls it P.U. -- "philosophically untenable")
If you like Kurt Vonnegut, Jonathan Swift and are willing to take a joke, you might like this one as well
