A large, subterranean cocktail lounge underneath Chelsea market with oriental rugs and old encyclopedias. The large size means you usually don’t have to wait to get in, and they do a good job keeping it relatively intimate. I have had some spectacular drinks here and some mediocre ones, but they’re generally good.
