I'm not even done with this book and I can't recommend it enough. The story of San Francisco yuppies in the early 80s is entertaining enough, but the entire novel is written in sonnets!
Vikram Seth is a master storyteller and poet, allowing the reader to engage at any level, line by line, sonnet by sonnet, or chapter by chapter. This is a masterpiece and I can't wait to read its remainder.
