This is the Social Network that really matters. This article discusses the need of a safety net of friends and family and is rated by country. Moral of the story?

Social networks can never replace friends. I am from India and find this report highly inaccurate for two reasons
1. i have my closest friends on social networks. but that said, i do not communicate with them on this network. i prefer more personal touch - meets, calls.
2. India, as a society has more structured support system to stages of human life ( irrespective of social and economic status)
