One interesting and perhaps scary feature is that you can find out what you have rated books versus your 'friends'. You can also cut and paste your review html and use it elsewhere (like your blog) and it imports the books cover and your rating as well.

Love Goodreads. Great to keep track of your reading history; read and write book reviews; get recommendations; have discussions; and quizzes.

Great way to keep track of books you've read. Still in early stages, so still a bit clunky. Recommendations tend to go for new installments of popular genres (vampires, romance, mysteries, self-help).
Amazon still a better site for recommendations. Has potential.

This site is awesome. The interface is a bit clunky, but the idea of making reading social is a great motivator to read more. You can add books as you read them and update your progress and post to Facebook and Twitter. Also you can write and read reviews.

My favorite book cataloguing site! Lots of great features that are both fun and useful.
Cons: The social networking features could be improved. I haven't quite gotten hold of that part of the site yet.

Great place to keep track of your library and find reviews of books.
Cons: Doesn't give you recommendations based on your ratings.

Awesome way to catalogue your books, and see what your friends and favorite authors are reading. Brand new iPhone app is pretty sweet, too - update what page you're on from anywhere.
