Free will is not a God like power to exempt oneself from the causal fabric of the physical world. It is an emergent property of the brain that allows us to perceive, mull over and act on choices, both an objective phenomenon and dependent on our belief in and perception of it.
In this definition of free will, we can have free will no matter we live in a deterministic or stochastic world.
