Born 1948 in North Carolina; served in the U.S. Navy; worked as graphic designer/illustrator; retired to the Southwest to concentrate on painting landscapes; aligned with Hudson River and Illuminist painters. I love his stark yet ethereal depictions of nature's power (and man's comparative insignificance).
