My first encounter came with subtitles, so the lyrics was the first thing that touched me. UGLY is about the self-depreciating and desperation which every girl has felt at least once in life. It's about struggling to meet standards and being tired of all that.
It hit all the sore points, I nearly cried. But at the end, the tone became lighter. Everything was still there but they learn to deal. :')

The strong guitar riff carries this song's mood throughout the entire song. With a mix of Rock and Elec. "UGLY" is the perfect addictive summer song which has refreshing chorus melody!
