In this little novel we are able to get an entirely new perspective on the life of a simple man, who, after death, encounters 5 people whose life he has touched and moved who assist him in his adjustment to life in heaven. It is also a moving love story.
Albom writes with tenderness and affection and captures the personalities populating this philosophical tale about life.

mitch albom is a great writer. the book itself is inspiring and timeless. reminds me of the last lecture by randy pausch for some reason.

This book is so well written and changed my view of the world, and what we are taught about life after death.

This book is a timeless classic and really makes you think deeply about life as we see it, and as we don't see it, and possibly what the afterlife may entail. It has changed my view on the world, and I am glad I read it at the time in my life when I did. Very descriptive writing and beautiful and endearing characters.
