This is what textbooks on the iPad are missing. They need to be rewritten, remade for the interactive interface.

Reinventing the textbook and the way students learn. Buy whole books or just the chapters you need. My favorite feature is the Social Learning Network whereby you can follow other people using that textbook, share notes and highlights, and create running discussions on the topic under study.
