Dear Hunch,

You are amazing for recommending this to me in your weekly email. I came across this video while stalking the INFP board on Personality Cafe and I thought to meself: "This is very INFP." I love the powerful imagery added by the supplemental footage and the irony of Charlie Chaplin speaking as a dictator.

While the sentiments expressed in this speech are profound and universal, and while Chaplin took an inordinately high personal and professional risk to make this film as he did and when he did, contextually this speech ruins what might have been an even stronger film...or as Roger Ebert put it, "What he says is true enough, but it deflates the comedy and ends the picture as a lecture."

A Moving and powerfull speech written and delivered by Charlie Chaplin in the Film 'The Great Dictator', over 70 years ago, and the message still stands strong to this day.
